Grand Palace
Grand Palace & Phra Kaew Temple. It was built by King Rama I of Chakri dynasty. It has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782 and now the Grand Palace is still used for official events like royal ceremonies. The highlight of the Phra Kaew Temple is the Emerald Buddha Image which is holiest in the kingdom. Inside this temple is surrounded by the gallery of Ramakien story that has 178 sections since beginning until the end. For the palaces, each palace inside has different style, Borom Phiman Mansion was built in the European style it was the residence of king Rama VII and VIII. Another important one is Chakri Maha Prasat Hall was built in Thai and European style.

Pho Temple (Reclining Buddha)
Pho Temple or Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimonmangklaram in official name. It is the main temple of the king Rama I. This temple is the one of the most famous and oldest temple in Thailand, it is the first school for Thai massage (still in practice) and known also as the Temple of Reclining Buddha. It has 46 metres long and it is one of the most beautiful temple in Thailand also!

Arun Temple (Temple Of Dawn)
It’s the most beautiful pagoda in Thai, Khmer and Chinese style. The temple is next to the riverside of Chaophaya River. If you want my advice, go to see it during sunset.
The reflection of the sun on the water is majestic. This temple was in renovation for a few years, so it looks good as new now.

Chinatown (Yaowarat Road)
Red and gold colors from this road will bring you the same feeling as walking in China. This area is the oldest one of Thailand since the early of the Rattanakosin period.
Before, the Chineses people were living where the Grand Palace now stands. They have moved here because of the King Rama I wanted to established the new capital at this area.
Chinatown is full of tropical dried fruits, bird’s nest, shark’s fin and several types of food that you want to try it out! The Chinese temples around are well known for Thai and Chinese from China to come here for showing their respect to the temples.

Trimitr Temple (Golden Buddha)
The shine golden buddha image weight 5.5 tons in pure gold. Yes, that’s a big one! Your eyes will be happy to see it, because this is real gold… and the biggest one in Thailand.
Fun fact, it is more than 700 years old. This temple was constructed by 3 Chineses at the beginning around in the 14th century, the name of this temple “Trimitr” means 3 friends and it became the name of this temple to respect the 3 of them.

Chatuchak Weekend Market
Local products with the lowest price in this market, Chatuchak is the most famous market for Thai and tourist to visit here during weekend. It’s when the market is more crowded. However, if you are looking for something more quiet, go during week day. The varieties of things you can buy is incredible and, like any good market, you can find everything from fresh fruits smoothies to home decoration.
Don’t forget, if you are not careful, you will get lost. So make sure that you are going to the right way and pick up the right things for your souvenirs to your loved ones.

Ratchada Train Night Market
In this night market, you will find some incredible fresh seafood and varieties of Thai food that you can have with real local price. It’s just a few minutes walk from MRT or subway at the station “Thailand Cultural Centre” and is plenty of local bars and restaurants with live music as well. If you’re looking for some typical clothes in Thai style, it’s one of the most famous things to buy there… Just after enjoying your pad thai.

Khao San Road
Certainly the most famous place in the world for backpacker who are looking to get the lowest price for everything... from street food to hotels. With all the massage shops, restaurants, bars and small shops, it’s the backpacker’s paradise to try at least once in your lifetime.
If you feel brave, don’t forget to try the fried insects and scorpions, the papaya salad, pad thai and fresh fruits smoothies for one of the lowest price in Bangkok. If you’re a party lover, it’s a great area to hang out with your friends. Loud music, cheap drinks for a nice time.

MBK Shopping Mall
MBK is one of the biggest shopping centre in Bangkok, it’s famous for both: Thai and Tourist. It’s the place where you can find several souvenirs for your friends, your family and your lover.
Local people usually come there for tech products like phone or laptop. If you have a broken iPhone, you should defintely go to the third flour. There is also a lot of local products from everywhere in Thailand.
The best part? Well, it’s just 10 minutes far from city centre by taking BTS or Skytrain, with this, you can literally fly over the cars and avoid the crazy traffic in rush hour. It’s the last station of Silom line (National Stadium Station).

Talad Noi Market
Talad Noi is a small area in Bangkok, close to Chinatown area that you can walk around to visit and see another part, another mood of the big huge Bangkok city.
The area is full of local products, old houses in traditional style, fancy coffee shop, beautiful buildings and graffitis. It’s a place between past and present, where a mixed of Thai and Chinese communities live, close to the Chaopraya river. This place is full of history. “Talad Noi” means “little market”.
If you go there, you will fall in love with this mix. Don’t forget to take as many pictures as possible with the graffitis in background!
