Early morning your local guide will pick you up at your hotel and take BTS (skytrain) to Saphan Taksin station. Then, you will take a public boat to the Grand Palace. It was built by King Rama I of Chakri dynasty. It has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782 and now the Grand Palace is still used for official events like royal ceremonies. Lunch at the local restaurant.
     After lunch take a tuktuk to visit the Chinatown area. It’s one of the oldest area in Bangkok since the King Rama I established the new city in Rattanakosin. The Chinese were moved from this area when construction of the Grand Palace began. This area also has a golden temple, well known as Trimitr Temple. The buddha image in this temple is the biggest one that is covered by real gold since Sukhothai Dynasty. The name of this Golden Buddha image is Phra Phutta Maha Suwana Patimakon with 5.5 tons (5,500 kilograms).
     The last visit for today is Jim Thompson House. It is a Thai Traditional Houses museum which has a Thai Silk shop inside. You will visit this house with an expert that will explain each spot inside the house. You will also discover how to create Thai silk. After that, you can walk to MBK a famous shopping mall in Bangkok, where you can find almost all kinds of souvenirs. Return to you hotel with guide or you can take skytrain back by yourself for some more adventure.
